The annual joint luncheon of the Eastern District of Michigan Chapter and the Historical Society of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2015 beginning at 11:30a.m., at the Historic Westin Book Cadillac Hotel on Washington Blvd in downtown Detroit.
The program will feature:
- Presentation of the Federal Bar Foundation’s annual Rakow Scholarship Awards to students from each of Michigan’s law schools;
- A very special Historical Society program featuring Kevin M. Ball, author of “Adversity and Justice: A History of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan; and
- The Fifth Annual Barbara Rom Award for Bankruptcy Excellence.
