Motion Day (Young Lawyer Section)

The objective of the Young Lawyer Section (YLS) is to purposefully engage younger lawyers and law students in our bar association with the full understanding that this demographic brings new energy, perspectives,  passions  and leadership to our our organization.  Several committees comprise the YLS each with a specifically assigned task which in concert with the other committees serve to accomplish the mission of the Section. The Motion Day Committee works to organize motion calls at the local Law schools with the generous support of our bench and court staff. Through this committee, we aim to gain the participation of law students, whose membership is free within our chapter. Because the chapter so highly values to participation and membership of young lawyers and law students, a deep membership discount is given when the law students pass the bar and become junior members.
