- A verification email will be sent to you and then you will create your password and Tradewing account.
- Once into our Tradewing portal, search our events and click on the New Lawyers’ Seminar.
- Then click on REGISTER for the New Lawyers’ Seminar.

NEW LAWYER’S SEMINAR PARTICIPANTS who sign up early enough will have the opportunity to register for and participate in a mass swearing-in ceremony held during the seminar and thereafter be admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. This mass-swearing in opportunity will be open only to individuals who register for the New Lawyer’s Seminar.
Registrants who did not register for the mass swearing in to the District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan prior to February XX, 2025 deadline will be able to coordinate an individual swearing-in ceremony at a later date. The major differences between being sworn-in later (as opposed to the mass swearing in) is that applicants will need a sponsor. Also, for those not sworn in as part of the mass-swearing in, there is no actual ceremony. Information for admission can be found on the court’s website: www.mied.uscourts.gov.
