The FBA’s Diversity Committee Presents:

From Classroom to Courtroom

On January 11, 2019, the Federal Bar Association’s Diversity Committee is pleased to offer Michigan’s law students a chance to turn classroom skills into a federal court practice. Students will hear from federal judges, observe court proceedings, and meet members of the Eastern District’s federal bar. Lunch is on us. And join the FBA. It’s free!  8:45: Check-in @ Detroit Room (115)

 9:00–10:00: So You Want to Be an Intern: Panel discussion with federal judges

 10:15–11:30: Courtroom observation (Civil or Criminal proceedings)

 11:45–12:45: Lunch Panel: Federal court practitioners explain how they got their start. (Lunch provided)

 1:00–3: Courtroom observation (Civil or Criminal proceedings)
