Historical Society Speaker: WSU Professor Peter Hammer. Hammer is a professor and the director of the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights at the Wayne State University Law School. He co-wrote No Equal Justice: The Legacy of Civil Rights Icon George W. Crockett Jr. and he is also the co-author of Judge Keith’s biography “Crusader for Justice.”
