The Barbara J. Rom Award for Bankruptcy Excellent was created to recognize practitioners who, like Barbara, have demonstrated overall excellence and expertise in bankruptcy law and practice. This award is open to all bankruptcy practitioners, regardless of whether they represent consumers, business debtors, or creditors.
The following criteria are considered for this award: overall excellence, professionalism, quality of practice, community engagement, participation in bar association and Court-sponsored activities, and pro bono contributions.
