Redfield is a tenured professor at the University of New Hampshire School of Law. She is the editor of Enhancing Justice: Reducing Bias. A recipient of the ABA Sadie Alexander award\, her primary research interests are diversity and inclusion in the legal profession as well as within the education pipeline. \nJudge Bernice B. Donald sits on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to that she was a district judge in Tennessee’s Western District. Prior to that she was a bankruptcy judge. And prior to that she was a Tennessee state court judge. Before becoming a judge\, she was\, among other notable things\, a public defender in Shelby County Tennessee.
